Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies and browser storage CookieBoss (operated by Transformination OÜ) uses on cookieboss.io and app.cookieboss.io. The lists below were measured in a browser, not copied from documentation.
Before you make a choice
Nothing is stored on your device on cookieboss.io until you choose in our consent banner, and no Google scripts are loaded. You can check this yourself with our free scanner.
If you choose “Reject all”

You can accept analytics and marketing separately under “Manage preferences”. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the cookie button in the bottom corner of every page. When you withdraw consent we delete the Google cookies set on cookieboss.io (_ga, _ga_VRP5QK7HSG, _gcl_au); test_cookie lives on Google’s domain and expires within minutes.
The CookieBoss dashboard (app.cookieboss.io)
The dashboard sets no cookies. When you sign in, your session token is kept in your browser’s localStorage (cookieboss-auth) until you sign out or it expires after 7 days. This is strictly necessary to keep you signed in.
Payment pages
Checkout and the billing portal are hosted by Stripe, which sets its own cookies for payment security and fraud prevention. See Stripe’s cookie policy.
The CookieBoss banner on our customers’ websites
Websites that use CookieBoss store your choice for that website in the same way, with the duration the website owner chose (12 months by default). That website’s owner is responsible for their own cookie policy.
