These Terms of Service govern your use of CookieBoss (“the Service”), operated by Transformination OÜ (registry code: 17449477), Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

CookieBoss provides cookie consent management tools, including consent banners, cookie scanning, compliance reporting, and analytics. The Service is provided as-is on a subscription basis.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
  • One person or legal entity per account (team members can be invited)

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Free tier: available with limited features, no payment required
  • Paid plans: billed monthly in EUR via Stripe
  • 14-day Pro trial: automatically applied to new accounts
  • Cancellation: you may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Refunds: we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
  • Price changes: we will notify you 30 days before any price increase

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any law or regulation
  • Collect personal data without proper legal basis
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Resell the Service without written permission
  • Use the Service on websites containing illegal content

5. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including all code, design, and documentation, is owned by Transformination OÜ
  • Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership of your content or configurations
  • The consent scripts generated by CookieBoss may be deployed on your websites

6. Data Processing

When you use CookieBoss to manage consent on your websites, you are the data controller for your website visitors’ data. We act as a data processor. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Availability & SLA

  • We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance
  • The consent script is served via Cloudflare’s global CDN for maximum availability

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided “as is” without warranties
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim
  • We are not responsible for your compliance decisions — the Service is a tool, not legal advice

9. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
