Dashboard Overview

The CookieBoss dashboard at app.cookieboss.io is where you manage all your sites, configure consent banners, and view analytics.

Sites

The Sites page is your home screen. It lists all websites you’ve added to CookieBoss. Each site card shows:

  • Domain — the website URL
  • Status — whether the consent script has been published
  • Script version — the current published version number
  • Last published — when you last published changes

Click a site to open its detail page with access to the Banner Editor, Cookie Inventory, and Analytics.

The Banner Editor lets you customize your consent banner visually:

  • Layout — choose between bottom bar, modal, or full preference center
  • Colors — set primary, accent, text, and background colors to match your brand
  • Text — edit the banner title, description, and all button labels
  • Settings — enable Google Consent Mode V2, configure geo rules, set cookie expiry
  • Preview — see a live preview of your banner as you make changes

Changes are saved as a draft. Click Publish to push them live.

The Cookie Inventory shows all cookies detected on your site:

  • Cookie name and domain — which cookies exist
  • Category — necessary, analytics, marketing, or functional
  • Description — what each cookie does (editable)
  • New cookie alerts — newly detected cookies are highlighted

You can run a cookie scan to detect new cookies, or set up automated scanning on a schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly).

Analytics

The Analytics page shows consent metrics for your site:

  • Consent rate — percentage of visitors who gave consent
  • Accept All / Reject All / Custom — breakdown of consent choices
  • Category rates — consent rates per category (analytics, marketing, functional)
  • Daily trends — chart showing consent metrics over time (7, 30, or 90 days)
  • Geographic breakdown — consent rates by country
  • CSV export — download analytics data for reporting

Account

The Account page shows your profile information and current subscription plan. From here you can manage your subscription and view plan limits.

API access

Everything you can do in the dashboard is also available through the REST API. Use it to build custom integrations or automate your workflow.
